As well as catching up with some great friends, my trip to Leeds provided a very successful find when browsing a charity shop. Im not usually the type to shop in the likes of Oxfam and stores alike, but the need to kill some time lead me to having a quick browse in the Headingley store.
Straight away the vinyl section grabbed my attention, but there was far too much to choose from. I decided to pick a random 12″ in the hope that it was a gem. As I only travel home tomorrow and have no access to a turntable, I loaded the track on YouTube to get a sneak preview.
Side A plays ‘No Smoke’, whilst side B hosts ‘Jazz’ by Sandy Rivera & Jose Burgos. To be honest, both records are not my usual style, but with that said I am very happy with the new Funky House purchases – All for 0.99p! Result.
